Big day at Kelly Canyon....

Early Saturday morning it began to snow, and it didn't stop all day. WOOOOT!

The drive up was wild, the snow was pounding. It is wht dreams are made of. Could not have been a better day.

Dean set off a small avalanche over on Moose Face, but all in all it was a tremendously awesome day!

Winter - I love it, and hate it.

Have endured about a month of sub zero temps. I love winter, but I have grown weary of this. The usual episodes of the car not starting being prevalent.  I start most mornings with a dead battery and a flat tire. Money being as scarce as it is (hospital and doctor bills ya know) is the reason for no remedies…. Yet.

Temps have been as low at -25f and daytime has seen a high still in the negatives. wooo! Ducks, geese and swans don't seem to mind.

 

The mornings are brutal, but beautiful. Incredibly. 

The hill has been good to us so far.... could use some fresh stuff though...
